Aladdin stars Adam Jacobs (Aladdin),Courtney Reed (Jasmine), Jonathan Freeman(Jafar) and recent Tony Award winner James Monroe Iglehart (Genie) signed CDs at the Barnes & Noble Citigroup Center location (160 East 54th at Third) on Friday, June 20th from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Bill Hanney's award winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) is set to take family audiences on an underwater musical adventure with the New England Premiere of Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID. This highly anticipated theatrical event has already been extended for an extra week with performances starting Tuesday July 8, and now playing through Sunday, July 27. Press night is scheduled for Thursday, July 10 at 7:30 pm.

The cast of the new Broadway smash, Disney's Aladdin, is currently in the studio laying down tracks for the Original Cast Recording of the show, to be released by Walt Disney Records digitally today, May 27th. The physical album is set for release today, June 17th and will also be available for purchase in-theater. The Aladdin Original Broadway Cast Recording will be produced by Alan Menken, Michael Kosarin, Frank Filipetti and Chris Montan and executive produced by Kurt Deutsch.

Disney's Beauty and the Beast, the award-winning worldwide smash hit Broadway musical, is coming to San Luis Obispo. Produced by Kelrik Productions, this elaborate theatrical production will come to life on stage at the PAC's Spanos Theater July 11 - 20. Tickets for the performance of Disney's Beauty and the Beast are now on sale at the PAC box office, by phone at 805-756-4TIX, and online at www.pacslo.org.

Porchlight Music Theatre begins its 20th Anniversary season with a benefit concert, Chicago Sings Disney featuring the music created by the Walt Disney Studios, Monday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. at Mayne Stage, 1328 West Morse Ave. The evening includes a thrilling roster of Chicago's top theatre artists performing familiar Disney classics and nostalgic treasures, a silent auction, cash bar and complimentary desserts at intermission, generously provided by Bespoke Cuisine. James Monroe Iglehart, who brought ALADDIN's Genie to life in the Pre-Broadway tryout of the show in Toronto has just won a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical.

James Monroe Iglehart won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical for ALADDIN. This is James Monroe Iglehart's first Tony nomination. He has also appeared on Broadway in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Memphis.

Today, Deadline.com spoke to composer Alan Menken about Disney's newest musical production Aladdin, nominated for a Tony Award for Best Musical.

The touring production of DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST will play at Wolf Trap's Filene Center for five performances between Friday, June 6th and Sunday, June 8th. The family-friendly, live-action musical includes all the songs from the Broadway production and spectacular sets and costumes.
