I'm a Good Little Devil is a cabaret revue about the early Broadway music hall era full of glamour, fun, and joy! This show is divided into seven scenes and ten costumes, recreating some of the best success of Gaby Deslys, a world acclaimed singer and dancer of the belle epoque. She was a modern emancipated woman, and free of the conventions of her time.

Continuing its commitment to transformation, possibilities, and the community, The Marsh Berkeley announces monthly Open Mic Nights with Ellen Hoffman for 2018. Furthering The Marsh's mission of supporting new voices, Bay Area pianist, composer, and music arranger Ellen Hoffman will host a two-hour set offering five-minute slots to a variety of performers. Experienced singers, instrumentalists, poets, comics, actors, as well as novices will join Hoffman in an evening that presents eclectic entertainment for the adventurous. Those interested in performing will sign up at the door, and are welcome to provide sheet music or their own accompaniment for this celebration of the artistic community in the East Bay. Carnegie Hall announced today that its one-night-only benefit concert performance of Leonard Bernstein's Candide on Wednesday, April 18 at 7:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage will star Paul Appleby in the title role of Candide alongside Erin Morley as Cunegonde, Patricia Racette as the Old Lady,William Burden as Governor, and John Lithgow as Voltaire / Dr. Pangloss. The Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia) is collaborating with celebrated theatre director and visual artist Robert Wilson to organize a first-of-its-kind exhibition highlighting the drama, rituals, and opulence of the Qing Empire, the last imperial dynasty of China. The exhibition will present objects from Mia's renowned collection of Chinese art, including rare court costumes, jades, lacquers, bronzes, gold ornaments, paintings, and sculpture, displayed in an immersive, experiential environment conceived of by Wilson. 'Power and Beauty in China's Last Dynasty: Concept and Design by Robert Wilson, presented by Sit Investment Associates, is curated by Liu Yang, Mia's Curator of Chinese Art, and will be on view February 4 through May 27, 2018.

The Clive Barnes Foundation announced today, Monday, January 8, 2018, that Evan Ruggiero(Bastard Jones) has won the Eighth Annual Clive Barnes Award for Theater. Mr. Ruggiero received his award alongside Gemma Bond (American Ballet Theatre) who was named the recipient of theEighth Annual Clive Barnes Award for Dance. The announcement was made at the Eighth Annual Clive Barnes Awards ceremony, which was held at The Walter Reade Theatre at Lincoln Center.
