Broadway veteran Herndon Lackey will star in WE'LL MEET AGAIN, a new musical about a Jewish family's escape from Nazi Germany, presented by the Axelrod Performing Arts Center at Bell Theater in Holmdel, NJ.
The Hangar Theatre will present A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum as this season's musical from June 29 until July 15, 2017. The musical combines the classical Broadway fare, the comedy of ancient Rome, and a healthy shake of vaudeville.
Dan Knechtges (Lysistrata Jones, Xanadu) will direct a January 8-9 industry reading of the new musical GLORY RIDE. Tony Award nominee Josh Young (Jesus Christ Superstar), Alison Luff (Matilda), Quinn van Antwerp (Jersey Boys), and Herndon Lackey (Les Miserables) will lead the cast.

In fact, this is their 149th gathering, and each year the shrinking group gets together to relive their experiences during the American Civil War. As an audience, we are told to forget what we learned in history because these men were there. Over the next two hours, we are treated to a dizzying array of madcap, behind-the-scenes hilarity that turns history on its head.
