On Saturday, May 21, Eddie Palmieri, the “Madman of Salsa,” will tickle the ivories with his Latin Jazz band.

Produced by Anna Deavere Smith, Glenn Ligon and Vijay Iyer the exhibition marks Pinderhughes’ visual art debut and features music from GRIEF as well as a constellation of films, sound works, physical pieces and contributed artworks from established artists like Titus Kaphar and currently incarcerated artists including Pitt Panther.

Andy Ostwald is a San Francisco Bay area-based performer, teacher, and author of the book Play Jazz, Blues, Rock Piano by Ear. He performs as a band leader, sideman, solo pianist, and as a member of Jeff Sanford’s Cartoon Jazz Orchestra. Now with his own ANDY OSTWALD TRIO he is proud to present their debut full-length release FIELD GUIDE on March 18, 2022.
