Broadway at The National announces its 2017-18 season featuring the anticipated world premiere of the Broadway-bound new musical Mean Girls, with a book by nine-time Emmy Award winner Tina Fey based on her screenplay for the Paramount Pictures film, the return of Cameron Mackintosh's new production of Boublil and Schönberg's Tony Award-winning musical phenomenon Les Misérables, the only area appearance of the one-of-a-kind internet sensation The Piano Guys, the Washington premiere of the hilarious smash hit comedy Something Rotten! and the Washington premiere of Waitress with music by six-time Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles.

Winner of more than 125 international awards, the world's second longest-running musical ever, Les Miserables arrives at Teatro Renault, in Sao Paulo. Based on Victor Hugo's classic novel, the show, in contrast to 19th-century France, tells an enthralling story of dreams, love, passion, sacrifice and redemption - a timeless testimony of the survival of the human spirit.

Chris Carey is set to develop a host of new series and produce Andrew Davies' previously announced adaptation of Victor Hugo's LES MISERABLES.

LES MISERABLES SCHOOL EDITION comes to the Riverdale YM-YWHA stage in a production performed entirely by the talented teens of the award-winning Riverdale Rising Stars.  The epic tale of broken dreams, passion and redemption will be presented for six performances only:

Cameron Mackintosh's production of Boublil & Schonberg's legendary musical LES MISERABLES is now in its record breaking 32nd year and Cameron Mackintosh is delighted to announce Australia's Simon Gleeson and Hayden Tee will be reunited on stage as Jean Valjean and Javert at the Queen's Theatre.

Cameron Mackintosh's production of Boublil & Schonberg's legendary musical LES MISERABLES will have its Middle East premiere at Dubai Opera, situated in the heart of Downtown Dubai on 15 November 2016. The much-loved and critically acclaimed show will open the city's first purpose-built performing arts theatre.

Jarrod Spector began performing at three years old. A film of his singing 'Toot, Toot, Tootsie' with emphatic gestures shows the talented artist preternaturally polished. We're then treated to a clip from Ed McMahon's Star Search in which the six-year-old, pint-sized pretender performs Bertolt Brecht/Kurt Weill's 'Mack the Knife.' His parents, he explains, favored Bobby Darin to the extent that they overlooked the song's subject was 'a serial killer.' Tonight's version is brass-centric, Las Vegas swing. JUKEBOX LIFE, presented at Feinstein's 54/Below, is the most recent iteration in a series of biographical shows. ('Time to move on.') It adds Spector's marriage and his role as songwriter Barry Mann in the Carole King musical BEAUTIFUL to that of playing Frankie Valli in JERSEY BOYS and early aspirations. (Interestingly, he was unaware of both the men into whose shoes he has stepped.) Its title was inspired by a fan who asked, 'What's it like to have this incredible jukebox life?'

STARS ALIGN --- The brightest celebrities and the who's who in the international world of publishing,, film and the media industry, all aligned in perfect symmetry as if to mirror the throng of revolutionists of the classic VICTOR HUGO literary masterpiece moments before the musical adaptation's barricade was willed into reality by Enjolras.

'23 years later to my amazement and pride, it has become the world's longest running musical, I tell you why --- because we are getting older, but it looks like the show is never aging. It is kind of getting younger' Alain Boublil says, lightening up the mood before the preview opened with a rousing performance of the LES MISERABLES anthems THE BARRICADE, followed by ON MY OWN, BRING HIM HOME, and ONE DAY MORE. 'Because all the people playing the show now were not even born when Claude Michel and I were writing it!' Boublil says in deadpan humor, much to the amusement of the Singaporean press.

Simon Gleeson has always been very vocal about how he grew up to the music and the stirring plot of LES MISERABLES. Now as the lead actor in one of the most acclaimed touring productions of the Alain Boublil and Claude Michel Schonberg legendary musical, his primal recollections of the show still remain deeply rooted in him, just as his portrayal of Valjean is most assuredly deeply emblazoned onto the subconsciousness of audiences who have had the privilege to see him in this musical theater role of a lifetime.

David Rossmer will assume the role of Thenardier in Cameron Mackintosh's production of Claude-Michel Schönberg & Alain Boublil's legendary musical Les Miserables tomorrow, Friday, May 13 at the Imperial Theatre, it was announced today.

The first-ever international tour of Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production of Claude-Michel Schonberg and Alain Boublil's LES MISERABLES (LES MIS) must close this Sunday, May 1, after three extensions. With nearly sold out tickets day in and day out, this production can easily be one of the most successful productions staged at the relatively brand new theatre The Theatre at Solaire.

'Adrian Pang is wonderful to work with, such an instinctive actor! It was so much fun to play off him, I just love him! I hope we get to work together again soon,' says Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo, who along with Lea Salonga, make up the first three internationally acclaimed Filipina actresses - the third being Joanna Ampil - to have ever played Fantine in Alain Boublil and Claude Michel Schonberg's LES MISERABLES , playing at The Esplanade beginning May 31 onwards.
