1st Stage, Tysons Corner's award-winning professional theater, announces the extension of their critically-acclaimed production of Lobby Hero by Kenneth Lonergan, directed by 1st Stage Artistic Director, Alex Levy.  

Back by popular demand, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma will present its hit, Richard O'Brien's THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, October 13 through November 5 at Lyric's Plaza Theatre.  This triennial production will feature a cast of local favorites, including Matthew Alvin Brown as Riff Raff, Lexi Windsor as Columbia, and Vince Leseney as Eddie/Dr. Scott. Bucks County Playhouse welcomes 'Vocalosity' September 23 - October 2, an all-new live concert event from the creative mind of artistic producer Deke Sharon (Pitch Perfect, The Sing-Off) that takes a cappella to a whole new level! Producer Mark Cortale's acclaimed Broadway @ The Nourse concert series has announced a return to San Francisco for the 2016/17 season. Kicking off the series this season will be Broadway star Alice Ripley, Tony Award winner for "Next to Normal" on Sunday, November 13 at 3 PM.

George Street Playhouse today announced the cast of Rob Urbinati's Mama's Boy, which runs October 18 through November 6 at the New Brunswick theatre. Betsy Aidem (Broadway's All the Way, GSP's God of Carnage) stars as Marguerite Oswald, the headstrong mother of Lee Harvey Oswald, played by Michael Goldsmith (TV's Doctor Who, Gotham). 

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director, Casey Reitz, Executive Director) has announced that Tony Award winner Reed Birney (The Humans) will star in the leading role of Ken Carpenter in the upcoming New York premiere production of Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Tracy Lett's 2003 play, MAN FROM NEBRASKA, directed by David Cromer. Mr. Birney has previously appeared in three Second Stage productions - The Family of Mann, Loose Knit, and Winterplay.

Bakersfield Mist by Stephen Sachs, the Fountain's smash hit comedy that went on to see productions around the world including London's West End, will return to the Fountain for a limited 4-week engagement beginning Nov. 19. Sachs will again direct, with Jenny O'Hara (Transparent, The Mindy Project) and Nick Ullett (As the WorldTurns) reprising the roles they created.

Know Theatre will welcome University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music students to come and play at Your Theatrical Playground with a special co-production of Elizabeth Swados' Runaways.

?Since 2012, the renovation and reopening of Bucks County Playhouse has brought a renewed vitality to the New Hope area. On Today, September 21 at 11:30 a.m., Producers Alexander Fraser and Robyn Goodman will host a groundbreaking ceremony and announce the final phase of Bridge Street Foundation's renovations of the Playhouse with this expansion of the back deck into a new lobby and cafe space.
