Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage officially opens a new production and North American tour at the Harris Center in Folsom, CA, tonight, October 5.

On Sunday, October 29th at 4pm, Young Artists of America at Strathmore (YAA) presents The Sound of Music in Concert. The performance will include the original 1959 symphonic orchestrations by Robert Russell Bennett and feature over 100 local middle and high school student-artists from the YAAOrchestra, YAACompany and YAAJunior. The performance will take place at The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center in the Dekelboum Concert Hall (8270 Alumni Dr., College Park, MD).

Rainbow Theatre Project will produce a staged reading of Tennessee Williams' Kingdom of Earth. One of William's lesser known plays, Kingdom of Earth will be performed on Monday, October 16 at 7:30pm at the District of Columbia Arts Center.

Before the New York Yankees beat the Minnesota Twins last night, the fans at Yankee stadium scored in getting to see Broadway veteran Aaron Tveit perform the National Anthem. Watch as Tveit, who most recently starred as Bobby in the Barrington Stage production of Company, belts out the tune below:

This intimate play with music, from playwright Frank Higgins, will be helmed by Thomas W. Jones II. Black Pearl Sings! begins on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 and plays through Sunday, December 17, 2017 with an opening night on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 7 p.m. in the Lyceum Space Theatre at San Diego REP in Horton Plaza.
