terraNOVA Collective and The Playground Theater, in association with the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, are pleased to announce the world premiere of DON CHIPOTLE by Juan Francisco Villa (Empanada for a Dream), directed by Jo Cattell. A new Latino superhero is born in this epic coming-of-age adventure, told through theatre, puppetry, animation, music and a children's choir. DON CHIPOTLE will play tonight, August 25 - September 27, 2015 at the Storefront Theater, 66 E. Randolph St. in Chicago.

TUMACHO, an intimate one-night performance with songs to benefit five-time Obie-winning theatre company Clubbed Thumb, was held earlier this week on December 16 (7:30pm) at 13th Street Theater. 2013 Tony Award winner Pam MacKinnon directed, written by Obie winner Ethan Lipton. The event featured Patrick Wilson, America Ferrera, Christian Borle, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Kristine Nielsen, Richard Kind, and John Ellison Conlee. Check out a look back below!

On Sunday, September 22 New Georges held their BIG Benefit at Seamen's House, a private townhouse in Chelsea. The fundraiser featured a special performance by Eisa Davis and short plays and songs written specifically for the event by Laura Eason, Boo Killebrew, Julie Kramer, Rachel Peters and Charise Castro Smith, featuring Heidi Schreck, Maria-Christina Oliveras, Amy Wilson, Stephanie Wright Thompson, Eric Clem and others.
