Following its highly acclaimed European tour of Spirit, Bangarra Dance Theatre returns home to develop a breathtaking new theatrical experience.

The newly formed Center City Theatre Works is set to produce its debut work later this spring. The company is pleased to bring Philadelphia audiences Michael Cristofer's award-winning The Shadow Box. This heartfelt drama begins previews on May 4, opens May 5, and will close May 21. The company is mounting its first production on the stage Upstairs at the Adrienne, 2030 Sansom Street. On Saturday, December 11th, 2010 the Autry National Center will present, in association with Focus Features, a 5th anniversary screening of the award-winning landmark film Brokeback Mountain followed by a staged reading of messages, essays, poetry, and music inspired by the film. The event is part of the acclaimed program Out West at the Autry, a series of public events focusing on lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) history and culture in the West with gallery talks, film screenings, lectures, performances and other cultural events.
