MTV's new scripted thriller 'Eye Candy,' based on the best-selling novel of the same name by R.L. Stine, premieres tonight, Monday, January 12 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. The hour-long, 10-episode drama centers on tech genius Lindy, played by Victoria Justice, a 21-year-old hacker with a gift for seeing clues and connections in the digital world that others can't.

MTV today announced its new scripted thriller "Eye Candy," based on the best-selling novel of the same name by R.L. Stine, will premiere on Monday, January 12 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts and McCoy Rigby Entertainment present the fourth production in its 2013-1014 season of shows with one of the most popular musical events of all-time, the Tony award-winning, CATS, music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, based on 'Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats' by T.S. Eliot, with musical direction by John Glaudini and directed and choreographed by Dana Solimando. CATS will feature Kelly Provart as Grizabella and Todrick Hall (whose hilarious YOUTUBE video parodies have been seen by millions of viewers) as Rum Tum Tugger. CATS opened on Saturday, April 19, and runs through Sunday, May 11, 2014 at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd in La Mirada. ABC Family premiered 'Huge' on Monday, June 28th, at 9 pm ET/P starring Nikki Blonsky from the movie adaptation of Hairspray. This new series is developed by Winnie Holzman ('Wicked,' 'My So-Called Life,' 'Once & Again') and her daughter Savannah Dooley. Blonsky stars as Willamina aka Will, an opinionated, sardonic non-conformist who is not happy that her parents sent her to Camp Victory, a weight loss camp run by Dr. Rand, played by Gina Torres ('Firefly'). The cast also includes Hayley Hasselhoff as Amber, Zander Eckhouse as George, Stefan Van Ray as Trent, Harvey Guillen as Alistair, Ari Stidham as Ian, Raven Goodwin as Becca and Ashley Holliday as Chloe. Yesterday, July 8, celebrities attended the World Renowned Shen Yun Performing Arts Show. The show was held at The Dorothy Chandler Pavillion in Los Angeles, California. The performance includes 20 traditional Chinese dance and songs. The 40 member orchestra consists of both Chinese and Western instruments. BroadwayWorld brings coverage of the event below.
