KINKY BOOTS book-writer Harvey Fierstein was recently challenged to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge by KINKY BOOTS composer/lyricist Cyndi Lauper. Not surprisingly, he received a cold surprise when trying to respectfully decline.

Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig, lead producers of Kinky Boots, the smash-hit musical that brings together four-time Tony® Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy® Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Tony® Award-winner for Best Score for Kinky Boots), have announced final casting for the upcoming first national tour.

Just last night, the cast of the Tony Award-winning musical NEWSIES bowed for the last time at the Nederlander Theatre. NEWSIES featured a Tony Award-winning score with music by eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken and lyrics by Jack Feldman, with a book by four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein. Produced by Disney Theatrical Productions, NEWSIES was directed by Tony nominee Jeff Calhoun and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli, who won a 2012 Tony Award for his work.
