In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the James Bond film franchise on the anniversary of Dr. No, which enjoyed its world film premiere in London today, October 5, 1962, and in anticipation of the worldwide release of the 23rd James Bond adventure SKYFALL™, Albert R. Broccoli's EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment previously announced that today, October 5, 2012 will be Global James Bond Day, a day-long series of events for Bond fans around the world.

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures, Columbia Pictures, Passion Pictures and Red Box Films are proud to announce their new feature documentary EVERYTHING OR NOTHING: THE UNTOLD STORY OF 007 directed by Stevan Riley (FIRE IN BABYLON), produced by John Battsek (ONE DAY IN SEPTEMBER, THE TILLMAN STORY) and Simon Chinn (MAN ON WIRE, PROJECT NIM) to coincide with the 50th anniversary of James Bond films on October 5.
BAFTA LA Renames Britannia Award

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles (BAFTA Los Angeles) announced today that it will rename its Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution to Filmed Entertainment in honor of Albert R. 'Cubby' Broccoli, pioneering producer of the James Bond franchise.
