The Menier has a superb track record with breathing new life into classic musicals, but falls short with their latest revival: Cy Coleman's 1980 portrait of P.T. Barnum, creator of The Greatest Show on Earth . Menier Chocolate Factory's major revival of Barnum opens on 5 December, with previews from 25 November, and runs until 3 March 2018. Barnum tells the story of P.T. Barnum, the Greatest Showman on Earth, who combines razzle-dazzle with charm and brass to sell 'humbug' to cheering crowds. A joyful and moving musical portrait of the nineteenth century's greatest show-biz legend, Barnum is a colourful, dynamic spectacle full of circus, side-show legends and heart.

The Menier Chocolate Factory today announced casting for their forthcoming production of Barnum.

The full company is announced today for FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, running at Chichester Festival Theatre from 10 July - 26 August, with a press night on Tuesday 18 July. Directed by Daniel Evans, the cast of this new staging of the classic Broadway musical is led by Omid Djalili and Tracy-Ann Oberman.

The tenth Giggin4Good charity concert - Songs4Soi - will be presented at the Actors' Church, Covent Garden on May 28 featuring a stellar cast of vocalists, including TV presenter and actor, Jason Manford (Bigheads, The Nightly Show, The Producers), recent West End Glinda, Savannah Stevenson (Wicked, Aspects Of Love) and WhatsOnStage Award Winner and four time Olivier Award nominee Emma Williams (Half A Sixpence, Mrs Henderson Presents, Love Story, Zorro).
