The T Fellowship, the ambitious Theater program created in an effort to encourage, support and develop a new generation of creative theatrical producers, is now seeing the first yield of its considerable efforts with the critical hit GROUNDSWELL, the U.S. premiere of the award-winning play by Ian Bruce and directed by Scott Elliott. Presented by The New Group, GROUNDSWELL is produced in association with Orin Wolf, the first recipient of the T Fellowship for Creative Producing.

The Cameron Mackintosh/Really Useful Theatre Company, Inc. production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, directed by Harold Prince, will be at the Detroit Opera House for the first time ever September, 8-27.

Variety is reporting that Andrew Lloyd Webber has revealed that his 'Phantom' sequel, 'Love Never Dies,' will premiere in London 'in March of next year, and on Broadway in the same season.'

The 75th Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony and Luncheon took place today Friday, May 15, 2009 in the Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square (1535 Broadway at 46th Street). The event was co-hosted by Jeremy Irons (Impressionism) and Cynthia Nixon (Distracted).

Ryan Silverman, who previously starred as 'Raoul' in the Las Vegas production, took over the role on Broadway on Friday, April 24th.

The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye is reporting that The Phantom Of The Opera sequel, Love Never Dies, is re-evaluating schedules for the debut of the stage show at the Adelphi in London and the as of yet undisclosed theatres where the production will 'haunt' in Toronto, New York and the Far East.

Beginning Monday evening, July 27, there will be a new ?man behind the mask' in the Broadway production of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, which is the longest-running show in Broadway history. John Cudia, the current star of the National Tour, will take over the role on Broadway after a nearly decade-long association with the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, directed by Harold Prince.
