Stage Door Records will release of the 1980 Original London Cast Recording of the musical COLETTE by John Dankworth on February 22nd. The release will be the first time the recording has been available on CD. The musical starred Cleo Laine in the title role. The show originally opened at The Stables Theatre, Wavendon in 1979 and transferred to the Comedy Theatre, London in September 1980.

Whether the comedy concerns marital conflict, infidelity, motherhood, or manhood; is set on a park bench or at a village fete, the characters reveal a LOL timeless familiarity in their desperation to make contact with one another. Ayckbourn's American premiere of 'Confusions' will be staged by the Lost Studio from January 15 - March 7, 2010 in Los Angeles.

Included on this impressive list is a January West End transfer of Jez Butterworth's Jerusalem, one of the season's most successful productions that played the Royal Court, and developing a musical adaptation of the blockbuster Shakespeare in Love. And this after just opening A Little Night Music with Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury on Broadway and preparing to open the Liev Schreiber/Scarlett Jonhansson-led A View from the Bridge on Broadway in January. Martin Sheen to Return to Stage in 'The Subject Was Roses' with Conroy & Geraghty at LA Music Center

Martin Sheen will return to the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play that brought him a Tony Award nomination in 1964, and join with Frances Conroy and Brian Geraghty in 'The Subject Was Roses' by Frank D. Gilroy, it was announced today by Center Theatre Group Artistic Director Michael Ritchie.
'The Subject Was Roses' replaces the previously announced 'Speed-the-Plow' by David Mamet as the first production in the Taper's 2010 season at the Los Angeles Music Center, February 10 through March 21, 2010. Opening is set for February 21.
