The Caucasian Chalk Circle will begin performances tonight, May 3 at CSC (136 East 13th Street) for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 9. The official opening is Thursday, May 30.

MacArthur Genius Grant winner Han Ong's play "Swoony Planet" is closing Fordham University Theatre Program's "A Season of Cultural Revolution 2011-2012," which aimed at promoting cultural diversity through theater. "Swoony Planet," preceded by Saviana Stanescu's "For a Barbarian Woman," Pierre Beaumarchais' "The Marriage of Figaro," and Naomi Iizuka's "Anon(ymous)," will have its last weekend run from Thursday, April 19 to Saturday, April 21 at Fordham University's Pope Auditorium (113 W 60th St. and Columbus Ave.). It then moved to a lumberyard at 45 Bleecker Street which it converted into a two-theater performing arts center with Bombitty of Errors and And God Created Great Whales as its initial attractions. Now Culture Project has officially returned to 45 Bleecker making it its permanent home, and will present And God Created Great Whales, the innovative piece that launched the Culture Project into prominence over a decade ago.
