Presenters for the 63rd Annual Antoinette Perry Tony Awards® were announced today. Presenters will not only introduce the evening's various performances, but will also present the Tony Awards to the winners in each of the 27 competitive categories. Lucie Arnaz, Kate Burton, Kristin Chenoweth, Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, Edie Falco, Will Ferrell, Carrie Fisher, Jane Fonda, Hallie Foote, James Gandolfini, Lauren Graham, Colin Hanks, Marcia Gay Harden, Nicole Kidman, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Lange, Frank Langella, Angela Lansbury, Audra McDonald, David Hyde Pierce, Piper Perabo, Oliver Platt, Susan Sarandon, Kevin Spacey, John Stamos, Chandra Wilson, and many others will take the stage in celebration of Broadway's biggest night.

NEW DRAMATISTS, Tony Honor recipient and the nation's premiere playwright development workshop, honored the late Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Horton Foote with their 2009 Lifetime Achievement Award at its 60th Annual Spring Luncheon tribute, on Tuesday, May 19th at the New York Marriott Marquis (1535 Broadway, between 45th and 46th Streets). New Dramatists 60th Annual Spring Luncheon has been underwritten by Bob Boyett. BroadwayWorld.com's cameras were there to capture the afternoon event.

Hartford Stage, under the leadership of Artistic Director Michael Wilson and Managing Director Michael Stotts, announced today that acclaimed actress Lois Smith will return to Hartford Stage in the role of matriarch Stella Gordon as she joins the Broadway cast of Horton Foote's hit comedy Dividing the Estate for the production's run at Hartford Stage May 28 - July 5.

Primary Stages concludes the 2008-2009 season with the world premiere of the comedy Chasing Manet by Tina Howe (March 24, 2009 - May 2, 2009), featuring Tony Award-Winner Jane Alexander and Lynn Cohen. The New York Times reports the sad news that Horton Foote, who chronicled America's many voices and many lives and who will leave a dramatic and literary legacy as one of the country's greatest storytellers, has passed away today in Hartford, Connecticut. He was 92, said his daughter Hallie Foote.
