Inspired by a headline in the Provincetown Banner, Boston-based trio collaborates on world premiere musical about a baker who sells his irresistible cupcakes on the streets of "Summertown," his adoring customers, and the Keystone Cop who tracks his scent.
CUPCAKE, described as 'a sexy, subversive, silly and sweet love letter to Summertown,' will make its world premiere at Boston's Club Cafe May 10 - June 24, 2012. Book by Bradley Seeman, music by Michael Wartofsky (Car Talk: The Musical!!), and lyrics by David Reiffel, and directed and produced by Guy Ben-Aharon (GBA Productions, Israeli Stage).
