The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the West Coast Premiere of Bekah Brunstetter's quirky and tender comedy Be a Good Little Widow. Directed by Hal Brooks, Be a Good Little Widow will run May 11 - June 9, 2013 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Artistic Director Hal Brooks has announced the 2013 season for Cape Cod Theatre Project, featuring staged readings of new work by Sharr White, Heidi Schreck, Rinne Groff and JC Lee. They will be joined in Falmouth, Massachusetts by writers-in-residence Jackie Sibblies Drury, Andrew Dolan, Halley Feiffer and Academy Award nominee Lucy Alibar.
Broadway stars Cory Michael Smith (Breakfast at Tiffany's, Cock) and Krysta Rodriguez (Smash, The Addams Family) will participate at a benefit for the Cape Cod Theatre Project for its 2013 season on Monday, April 8. The two young stars will appear in a ten-minute scene by playwright and 2012 Writer-in-Residence Sharr White (The Other Place).
