Jo-Ann Ragosta, Chairperson of the ARTS Scholarships 2017 program, along with the members of the Community Outreach Committee of the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC), are pleased to announce the winners of the ARTS Scholarships 2017 program, sponsored by the Textron Charitable Trust and PPAC Annual Fund Donors.  This year's program will award scholarships to 36 talented Rhode Island students, ages 11 - 14, each of whom will receive a scholarship of up to $500 to attend a local summer arts education program of their choice (please see below for the list of ARTS Scholarships 2017 winners).

One of William Shakespeare's most produced plays, A Midsummer Night's Dream, takes the stage at Trinity Repertory Company and continues the 53rd season, Ghosts of the Past, Dreams of the Future from February 9 - March 24, 2017 in the Chace Theater.

Every year, Trinity Repertory Company adds a new spin to its beloved adaptation of Charles Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL. This year's production is no exception; in fact, the 2016 Christmas Carol is one of Trinity's most unique and intriguing Yuletide offerings to date.

Trinity Rep announces its annual presentation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, directed by James Dean Palmer, and featuring resident acting company member Brian McEleney as Scrooge. Performances run November 5 through December 31.Tickets are on sale now and by phone at (401) 351-4242, online at www.trinityrep.com, or in person at the theater's box office at 201 Washington St. A Christmas Carol is presented by Cardi's Furniture with supporting sponsors Amica Insurance and Hasbro, Inc.
