Film Comment's annual end-of-year survey was released today with Josh and Benny Safdie's Good Time, Terence Davies's A Quiet Passion, and Olivier Assayas's Personal Shopper taking the top spots among films released in 2017.

Nominations for THE CRITICS CHOICE AWARDS were announced today. Fox Searchlight's THE SHAPE OF WATER leads the pack with a whopping 14 nominations. Best Picture and Director contenders included DUNKIRK, CALL ME BY YOUR NAME, LADY BIRD and THE POST, each with eight nominations.

CALL ME BY YOUR NAME won for Best Picture of the Year, it was announced today by Claudia Puig, President of the Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA).

The New York Film Critics Circle is now voting on this year's winners. The ballot submissions began at 9AM this morning. Awards will be handed out at a Gala dinner to be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Tao Downtown.

Aspen Film today announced its full program of 29 feature films which comprise the 26th Academy Screenings at the historic Wheeler Opera House and the Paepcke Auditorium, both in Aspen. Instead, it is a simple and subtle masterpiece, that digs down to the humor and truth of every day eccentricities.
