The Toronto International Film Festival® today revealed the hundreds of special guests and talent that will attend the Festival this September.

The Toronto International Film Festival® announced today LADY BIRD as the Opening film of the Special Presentations Programme. Written and directed by Greta Gerwig, the film stars Saoirse Ronan, Laurie Metcalf, Tracy Letts, Lucas Hedges, Timothee Chalamet and Beanie Feldstein.

Piers Handling and Cameron Bailey unveiled the first wave of titles premiering in the Gala and Special Presentations programmes at this year's Toronto International Film Festival.

This climactic event - when Nora slams the door on everything in her life - instantly propelled world drama into the modern age. In A Doll's House, Part 2, many years have passed since Nora's exit. Now, there's a knock on that same door. Nora has returned. But why? And what will it mean for those she left behind? Get to know the cast before tonight's opening bows!

The Signature Theatre world premiere production of The Antipodes, written by Residency Five playwright Annie Baker and directed by Lila Neugebauer, has been extended by for a third time through June 4, 2017. It opened just last night in The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).
