Period Group The Choir of St. Luke in the Fields Presents MUSIC FROM THE 17TH CENTURY SALZBURG COURT

The Choir of St. Luke in the Fields, under the direction of David Shuler, with Parthenia Viol Consort and Baroque in the Fields, an ensemble of period instruments, presents Music from the 17th century Salzburg Court, a program of music by H.I.F. Biber, on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 8 p.m. at the Church of Saint Luke in the Fields, 487 Hudson Street. There will be a lecture by Dr. Sarah Davies at 7 p.m.

Hit Telemundo Series SIN SENOS SI HAY PARAISO Kicks Off Production on New Season

Following last year's success, Telemundo announced the production kick off for the new season of SIN SENOS SI HAY PARAISO starring Carmen Villalobos as “Catalina “la grande,” the character that started it all. Seventh Annual BROKE LA Announces Official Lineup

cARTel: Collaborative Arts LA, with Associate Producers Brownies and Lemonade, Shifty Rhythms, and Department 4, are proud to announce the lineup for the 2017 BROKE LA Music & Arts Festival. The festival's new location will be 4560 Worth St and will occur on the new date of April 8th, 2017. The date move shifts the festival away from overlapping with Coachella weekend for the first time ever, kicking off festival season in Los Angeles. Commenting on the change, Executive Director Negin Singh notes, "It is important for us, first and foremost, that our event serve our artists in their professional development. We are proud of our unbelievable talent and want to ensure that those in the music industry as well as our audience can freely engage in discovery at our festival without having to sacrifice celebrating what's big in the mainstream festival circuit.'

The Mexican Museum Loans Famous "Alebrijes" to the New Cholula Regional Museum in Puebla, Mexico

The Mexican Museum, the premier museum of Mexican, Chicano, and Latin American art, culture, and heritage and an Affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, announces that the museum's world-class collection of alebrijes  is now on-loan to the new Cholula Regional Museum (Museo Regional de Cholula) in Puebla, Mexico. One of the most anticipated museums in Mexico, the Regional Museum of Cholula was inaugurated on January 23, 2017 by Mexico's president, Enrique Peña Nieto, and the outgoing governor of Puebla, Rafael Moreno Valle. 

Meet the Full Cast of NOLI ME TANGERE, THE OPERA 60th-Anniversary Production

The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) and J&S Productions Inc., in cooperation with Ayala Foundation, have announced the full cast for the 60th-anniversary production of the Philippines' first full-length opera, Noli Me Tangere, an opera by National Artists Felipe de Leon and Guillermo Tolentino, directed by Jerry Sibal, featuring the newly formed 53-piece Noli Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Herminigildo Ranera.
