Theatrical composer and lyricist Scott Alan will be joined by some of today's brightest men on the New York theatre scene for a special concert at Birdland on April 12, 2010. The line-up includes The Broadway Boys, Darius de Haas (Children of Eden), Bobby Steggert (Ragtime, Yank), Josh Lamon (Hair), Hunter Ryan Herdlicka (A Little Night Music), Nicholas Rodriguez (One Life To Live), Grasan Kingsberry (Finian's Rainbow), Matt Doyle (Bye Bye Birdie), Michael Seelbach (Wicked), Jay A. Johnson (Hair), and recording artist RJ Helton and Brandon Webman. The concert begins at 7pm.

Jim Caruso's Cast Party is proud to present the return of composer Scott Alan to Birdland on Monday, April 12 at 7pm. This event is part of the Broadway at Birdland concert series, which showcases performers and composers from the Great White Way. Fanny, the 50th Encores! musical produced by New York City Center since 1994 and the second Encores! production of the season, opened on February 4 and ran through February 7, 2010. Fanny has music and lyrics by Harold Rome and book by S.N. Behrman and Joshua Logan, and is based on Marcel Pagnol's trilogy Marius, Fanny and Cesar. Today, December 14, 'White Noise' received 2 very private industry readings at S.I.R. Studios in Manhattan. As previously speculated, 'White Noise' is preparing for a spring move (no theatre mentioned). According to an official reading invite, Whoopi Goldberg will be joining producers Holly Way, Roy Miller, and Jay Strommen. No official announcement has been made.
