Thanks to the efforts of the cast of Irving Berlin's HOLIDAY INN and the generosity of our Goodspeed's audience members, the theatre company has raised $23,935.58 this holiday season for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, it was announced today.
The Muny announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for the Muny's 2015 Season, which opens on June 15 with My Fair Lady. 'This is a thrilling roster of artists,' said Muny Artistic Director and Executive Producer Mike Isaacson. 'We look forward to bringing their vision and talent to our grand stage.'

On January 18th an all-star cast will bring the musical Band Geeks to life in a concert presentation at 54 Below. Broadway's Gavin Lee, who recently returned from London where he was playing the Fred Astaire role in the musical Top Hat, will assume the role of Ted Hanover for the four additional weeks of Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn now running through December 28th at Goodspeed Opera House. On Broadway and national tour Lee played Bert the chimney sweep in Disney's Mary Poppins for which he was nominated for a Tony award.

It's a musical theater nerd's paradise and as a nerd one of my favorite times of the year. Village Theatre has once again brought together an incredible weekend of new works for workshop readings and one full production. Five shows put up for one performance as readings with music stands and scripts in hand and then one larger production put up for two weekends. And while the weekend may be over (and only for members anyway) there's still time to see the larger production and I've got some wonderful photos for you all. But let's start with the production you can still see and then we'll move onto the workshops.
