 Following a piercing expose in The Advocate and two critically-acclaimed, sold-out runs in The South Asian International Performing Arts Festival (where it was named Best Play) and The Midtown International Theater Festival, DMAC-Duo Multicultural Arts Center in association with DMoss Productions will present a limited return engagement of the world premiere of DEATH OF THE PERSIAN PRINCE, a new play that dramatizes the real-life story of thousands of gay Iranians who have changed genders to avoid execution by the Iranian government.

Year 2015 is the sweet 16th year for the MITF. Prolific producer John Chatterton's brainchild, The Midtown International Theatre Festival - presenting powerful plays and musicals from around the world - is steadily marching toward 20 years as one of the best reasons to come to New York in the summer. This year, the diverse Midtown International will present quality live theater PLUS a series of cutting-edge short works, children's theater, dance productions, one-person shows, cabaret, vaudeville & burlesque style entertainment.

Fringe Theatre Company will present RANDOM ACTS, seven new short one-act plays by Fringe Company members that feature fast paced comedy, quirky characters, and contemporary situations that will leave you laughing and craving more. RANDOM ACTS opens Friday May 9th and runs Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 7 p.m. through May 31st.
