Route 66 Theatre Company is pleased to present the Chicago premiere of Cicada, by Jerre Dye, directed by Route 66 Theatre Company's Associate Artistic Director, Erica Weiss. This coming of age ghost story deeply rooted in the life of a small southern family on the verge of transformation plays April 9 - May 25, 2014 at Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N Lincoln Avenue in Chicago.

Emmy winner, Tom Pelphrey one of the stars of award winning Indie Film Tiger Lily Road will make a personal appearance at the Q&A after the screening with director, Michael Medeiros. The screening will take place in the theatre's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre on Saturday, March 15 at 7:30pm.

Chinglish is Tony Award-Winning playwright David Henry Hwang's hilarious new comedy about the misadventures of miscommunication. It tells the story of an American businessman, Daniel Cavanaugh, who travels to a bustling Chinese province looking to score a lucrative contract in properly translated signs. But the deal isn't the only thing lost in translation as he tangles with a government official, a bumbling consultant, and a surprisingly sexy bureaucrat along the way. About Face Theatre Company has announced the appointment of Benjamin Sprunger as its new Development Director. Sprunger, who has served on AFT's Board of Directors and as an Artistic Associate, will begin the full-time staff position in March 2014.
