INTO THE WOODS star Emily Blunt may re-team with Disney once more.

It's time to put in your late winter pre-orders! Masterworks Broadway has just announced its slate of releases for Winter 2016, including three classic albums from the archives - SWEET CHARITY (February 12), SALAD DAYS (March 18), and KISMET (April 15). On February 26, Masterworks Broadway releases THE ESSENTIAL STEPHEN SONDHEIM, celebrating the 85th birthday year of the legendary theater composer and lyricist.

As previously reported, Rob Marshall (Into the Woods, Chicago) will direct a new Disney film based on their classic 1964 movie, MARY POPPINS. Speaking to Vulture, the helmer revealed more about the project, which will take place in 1934, when the original P.L. Travers books -- about the magical nanny's continued adventures with the Banks family -- were written and could include a cameo (or more, please!) by the original film's legendary star.

BoyleSports, an Ireland-based online betting firm, announced this week that Oscar-winner Anne Hathaway leads the race as favorite actress to take on the role of the iconic nanny, with 6/4 odds.

It's Mary that we love, and Mary's coming back! According to Variety, Rob Marshall (Into the Woods, Chicago) will direct a Disney reboot of their classic 1964 film, Mary Poppins. The project will be produced by John DeLuca and Marc Platt. The film will reportedly take place 20 years after the events of the original movie, and will include 'storylines from the P.L. Travers' children books focusing on the magical nanny's continued adventures with the Banks family.' Casting has not yet been announced.

Film credits include Hairspray, Chicago, A Raisin in the Sun and Footloose. Upcoming projects include The Wiz Live!, the movie adaptation of Pippin and much more.

Ah, liaisons! Old love is rekindled, young love is awakened, and foolish romantic escapades intertwine in Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's ravishing A Little Night Music, opening Friday, July 10 (8pm) at Palm Beach Dramaworks. This concert presentation, which runs through July 19 at the Don & Ann Brown Theatre, is directed by Lynnette Barkley, with musical direction by Kevin David Thomas. Leading the cast are William Michals, who previously captivated audiences in PBD's concert productions of Man of La Mancha and The Most Happy Fella; and Sondheim veteran Joy Franz, who created the role of the Stepmother in the original production of Into the Woods.

The current Stephen Sondheim tribute show, Our Time, starring KT Sullivan and Jeff Harnar at the Laurie Beechman (which I attended on July 9 and 16; there are two more Wednesday performances at 6pm on August 6, 13), is a charming, classy, and entertaining affair. But it also includes enough flaws in execution that prevent it from being truly great. For one thing, it doesn't really feel like a duo show. It's more like two solo performances within one show, where the performers fit in a couple of numbers together to justify the concept. A critique of the Sullivan/Harnar Sondheim set provides an interesting opportunity to analyze the anatomy of a duo show and the choices that can make it work—or not.
