FX has ordered its first limited series, Fargo, from MGM Television. The series is adapted by novelist/writer Noah Hawley from the award-winning film of the same title.

Coming off of his Academy Award(R) win for Life of Pi, celebrated director Ang Lee will make his television directorial debut with FX, directing the Pilot episode for the highly anticipated drama Tyrant, from Emmy(R) and Golden Globe(R) Award-winning producers Howard Gordon and Gideon Raff (Homeland), and Emmy-nominated writer/producer Craig Wright (Six Feet Under, Lost). The announcement was made today by John Landgraf, President and General Manager, FX Networks.

Today FX announced that BRANDX WITH RUSSELL BRAND will return for its next cycle tonight, February 7 with a new live format. Additionally, the series has expanded from its original half-hour length to a full hour for 13 episodes.

According to Deadline, at today's TCA winter press tour event, FX president John Landgraf spoke about the future of the network's iconic comedy IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA.
