Continuing its 25th Anniversary Season, Lookingglass Theatre Company presents the 2010 Pulitzer Prize Finalist Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, written by Rajiv Joseph and directed by Ensemble Member Heidi Stillman. Tickets are now on sale for the production, running January 30 - March 17, 2013 at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson. The Press Opening is Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.

Broadway's SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark has announced the Foxwoods Theatre as a New York Cares Coat Drive public collection site. From November 15 - December 31, 2012 patrons can drop off coats outside the box office at 213 West 42nd Street between 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., and during show hours on performance days.
Jake Epstein, best known as the star of the hugely popular teen series "Degrassi: The Next Generation," will make his Broadway debut as the Peter Parker / Spider-Man Alternate in Broadway's SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark. Epstein will play Saturday and Sunday matinee performances beginning on December 8, 2012 at the Foxwoods Theatre (213 West 42nd Street).

Thatcher most recently appeared as Terri in Jeffrey Sweet's new play Immoral Imperatives. Prior to that, she appeared in First Folio Theatre's production of Macbeth. Other credits include 'Hannah Jarvis' in Tom Stoppard's Arcadia at the Goodman Theatre, 'Candida' in George Bernard Shaw's Candida at Writers' Theatre, and 'Regan' in King Lear and 'Kate' in Taming of the Shrew at Chicago Shakespeare Theater.

SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, the record-breaking Broadway spectacular, held a Halloween safety press conference earlier today at the Foxwoods Theatre. Hosted by Spider-Man (Reeve Carney) and the Green Goblin (Robert Cuccioli), also in attendance were members of the "Sinister Six" and two members of New York's Finest. Spider-Man outlined the NYPD's official Halloween Safety Recommendations to remind parents and guardians of trick-or-treaters ways to help ensure a safe Halloween experience. According to the New York Times, playwritght Glen Berger, who recently worked alongside Julie Taymor, Bono and the Edge on Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, will write a book on the whole saga, titled "Song of Spider-Man: The Inside Story of the Most Controversial Musical in Broadway History."
