On Sunday, June 8, both Joe Allen Restaurant and Orso Restaurant will be hosting exclusive Tony Awards viewing parties for a limited number of guests. Several monitors will be displayed throughout the dining rooms for guests to enjoy the broadcast from any table. A Prix Fixe Menu, created by Executive Chef, Victor Flores, will be available for dinner for $75 at Joe Allen, and $85 at Orso. The viewing party begins at 6:00 p.m. for red carpet coverage, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and a raffle to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids, followed by dinner and the Tony Awards telecast at 8:00 p.m. Reservations are required to attend.
Rob Zombie's first concert film, The Zombie Horror Picture Show, released May 19 by Zodiac Swan/T-Boy/UMe, has debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Music DVD chart. The feature-length concert film, recorded live over two sizzling nights in Texas, captures Zombie's elaborate, multi-media production of mind-blowing SFX, animatronic robots, pyrotechnics, oversized LED screens and state-of-the-art light show combined with his powerhouse band featuring John 5, Piggy D and Ginger Fish.
Top Hat, winner of three Olivier Awards, for 'Best New Musical', 'Best Choreography' and 'Best Costume Design' from a total of seven nominations and winner of the Evening Standard Award for 'Best Night Out', is setting off on an epic 47-week UK tour, visiting 24 theatres nationwide. The Public Theater has announced complete casting for KING LEAR, the second show of The Public's free Shakespeare in the Park season at the Delacorte. Featuring the previously announced John Lithgow as Lear, this enduring tragedy will begin performances on Tuesday, July 22 and run through Sunday, August 17, with an official press opening on Tuesday, August 5.

Award-winning Summer Stock Austin will open its 10th Anniversary Season with the first show they ever produced, FOOTLOOSE. Footloose, the perfect summer musical, is packed with exhilarating dancing, vibrantly vintage 80s costumes, and a score filled with music that defined an era. Footloose will be directed and choreographed by SSA Co-Founder Ginger Morris. The 2014 season will also include Kander & Ebb's sizzling Broadway Blockbuster, CHICAGO. SSA Co-Founder, Michael McKelvey directs Chicago with choreography by Rocker Verastique. Theatre-For-All, the Summer Stock Austin 'family audience' production, will be following up last year's hit, THE BREMEN TOWN MUSICIANS, with the World Premiere of Allen Robertson's STONE SOUP. Mr. Robertson will stage and music direct the production.
