Irreverent, touching and funny, Let Go is an award-winning ensemble comedy that follows the intertwining stories of four individuals, a parole officer and three ex-convicts. It will be screened at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Wednesday, June 17, at 7:30 p.m. as a Ridgefield Playhouse Film Society Lost and Found Film Series event. Produced, written and directed by Brian Jett, the film stars Ed Asner, Kevin Hart, David Denman and Gillian Jacobs. Seven-time Emmy Award-winning actor Ed Asner and writer/director Brian Jett will be on hand for the Q&A on June 17th hosted by Emmy Award-winner Ira Joe Fisher. This event is underwritten by Cohen and Wolf, P.C. and The Ridgefield Press with media sponsor WSHU Public Radio Group.

GIRLS provided no time lapse for us this week, starting “Sit-In” right where we left off- literally, just moments after opening the door to our newest character (and enemy?) Mimi Rose Howard (COMMUNITY'S GILLIAN JACOBS). With tensions high as ever- Hannah, or any of us for that matter unable to comprehend what is going on, Mimi Rose decides to go out for “a cold pressed juiced”. Asking if anyone else wants one, we can't help but roll our eyes even more, and thankfully watch her walk out the door.

DA' Right Entertainment celebrates Black History Month with a limited engagement production of "A Soldier's Play". Written by Charles Fuller and directed by Kathy Lindboe, it is currently being produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. Performances will be a guest production at Santa Monica Playhouse from February 26, 2015 through March 1, 2015.
