Stephen Wadsworth's new production of Terrence McNally's Master Class starring Tyne Daly as the legendary opera soprano Maria Callas at the Vaudeville Theatre following its critically acclaimed, sell-out run on Broadway. Joining Daly are Gerard Carey (Stagehand), Jeremy Cohen (Emmanuel Weinstock), Naomi O'Connell (Sharon Graham), Dianne Pilkington (Sophie De Palma) and Garrett Sorenson (Anthony Candolino).

MASTER CLASS Begins Its West End Run

Stephen Wadsworth's new production of Terrence McNally's Master Class starring Tyne Daly as the legendary opera soprano Maria Callas has transferred to the Vaudeville Theatre following its critically acclaimed, sell-out run on Broadway. Joining Daly are Gerard Carey (Stagehand), Jeremy Cohen (Emmanuel Weinstock), Naomi O'Connell (Sharon Graham), Dianne Pilkington (Sophie De Palma) and Garrett Sorenson (Anthony Candolino).

Master Class, an extraordinary insight into the life and loves of Maria Callas, the iconic opera singer whose turbulent private life and fiery temperament were as astonishing as her formidable talents. Inspired by her master classes of the early 70s, this is a riveting, hilarious and intensely moving portrayal of the sacrifice and heartache behind the artist, the diva and the legend. Friedman, Carey et al. Lead INVISIBLE MAN at Menier; Previews 11/13

Rehearsals begin today, Monday 11 October, for Ian Talbot's production of Ken Hill's The Invisible Man at the Menier Chocolate Factory. The cast is Michael Beckley, Gerard Carey, Natalie Casey, Geraldine Fitzgerald, Maria Friedman, Christopher Godwin, Teddy Kempner, John Gordon Sinclair, Jo Stone-Fewings and Gary Wilmot.

Ian Talbot's production of Ken Hill's The Invisible Man will preview at the Menier Chocolate Factory from 13 November with press night on 24 November and is booking until 13 February 2011. The cast is Michael Beckley, Gerard Carey, Natalie Casey, Geraldine Fitzgerald, Maria Friedman, Christopher Godwin, Teddy Kempner, John Gordon Sinclair, Jo Stone-Fewings and Gary Wilmot.

UK SPAMALOT Offers Special eBay Auction

Python fans are to be offered the opportunity to bid for iconic items from the hit West End musical, Monty Python's SPAMALOT as the show concludes its run in the West End. Amongst the items up for auction are the Holy Grail which has adorned the front of the Palace Theatre since the show opened, the infamous killer rabbit with nasty pointy teeth, a Knight of Ni and French Taunter costume and in a paean to the expletive a 13 metres by 9.5 metres painted back cloth featuring the words ?Piss Off'.

Sanjeev Bhaskar Extends His Rule in West Ends's 'Spamalot' Until 2009

Today, Sanjeev Bhaskar is confirmed as the last King of the Britons to perform at the Palace Theatre in the multi award-winning, record-breaking Monty Python's SPAMALOT. Bhaskar, who was due to end his run on 5 October, will now retain his throne until the show's final West End performance on Saturday 3 January 2009 at 8pm. In June this year Bhaskar was crowned as the new King Arthur, following in the footsteps of Tim Curry, Simon Russell Beale, Peter Davison and Alan Dale.

Sanjeev Bhaskar Joins 'Spamalot' 6/23

Sanjeev Bhaskar is to join the cast of the multi award-winning record-breaking Monty Python's SPAMALOT, to be crowned as the new Arthur, the King of the Britons, following in the footsteps of Tim Curry, Simon Russell Beale, Peter Davison and Alan Dale.
