The megastars were in town to perform background research for their new Broadway play, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The trade paper reports that industry insiders are 'buzzing' about the whopping $3 million in advance sales solely from the initial pre-sale offer for American Express cardholders. Tickets for the general public are not available until July 25th. The Amex pre-sale launched Saturday.
