Premium cable network EPIX, an MGM company, today announced the premiere of DEEP STATE, the eight-episode espionage drama produced by Fox Networks Group Europe & Africa. Starring the critically-acclaimed actor Mark Strong, and Game of Thrones' Joe Dempsie, the gritty new drama is set to premiere on Sunday, June 17 at 9pm. Co-created, directed and written by Matthew Parkhill (Rogue) DEEP STATE is a grounded, visceral thriller, moving between the deeply personal story of a family man fighting to escape his past and the violent, dark excesses of government and global corporate power.

Erte was nicknamed 'the father of Art Deco', a soubriquet that he was not comfortable with but it unfortunately stuck. He was born into Russian aristocracy and his family tree can be traced back to the Tartar kahns. He was greatly influenced by books on Persian and Indian miniatures in his father's library and by his beloved Greek vases that he studied during frequent trips as a boy to the Hermitage Museum.

The event, which honors the work of the state's professional theaters, was held at Sacred Heart University's Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts June 26. Three-time Tony Award-nominee Terrence Mann was master of ceremonies.

Danielle Flett (Doctor Faustus, Duke of Yorks; Vera Vera Vera, Royal Court), Morgan Watkins (Silent Witness, BBC; Suffragette), George Whitehead (Love's Labour's Lost, Oxford Shakespeare Company) and Daniel Kendrick (Fury, Soho Theatre; Call The Midwife, BBC) have been cast in The Monkey by John Stanley.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center celebrates dozens of shows on Broadway, off-Broadway, and in theaters across the globe this 2016-17 season. Projects from the National Playwrights Conference and National Music Theater Conference have moved on to significant productions and even the Academy Awards. 

Glory Whispers by Sonya Hale and The Monkey by John Stanley are part of Homecomings - a festival of new work by prisoners and ex-prisoners about getting out and going home by Synergy Theatre Project in association with Theatre503.

SHUFFLE ALONG will play its final Broadway performance today, July 24, 2016, the day six-time Tony-winning star Audra McDonald was already set to depart the production for a multi-month maternity leave. SHUFFLE ALONG began performances on March 15, 2016 and officially opened on April 28 at the Music Box Theatre. It will have played 38 previews and 100 regular performances by the time it ends. The New York Times is reporting that Shuffle Along will close on July 24th, currently the date of Audra McDonald's departure citing a low advance for after she leaves the show.
