On October 10, pianist Jeffrey Siegel officially relaunches indoor Hylton Presents performances in Merchant Hall with his concerts with commentary Keyboard Conversations Classics Declassified. Siegel hands off the baton to the Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra on October 30 for their Big Band Era performance Swingin' with the Met.

Fair Park First, the non-profit organization charged with management and stewardship of Fair Park, announced today the start of Phase 1 of the “Fair Park, Your Park” capital campaign, which will seek to raise $85 million in the next five years. Blumenthal Performing Arts has announced the appointment of three new members to its Board of Trustees. Susanna Parker, David Head and William Smith were confirmed to the board January 27, during Blumenthal’s Annual Meeting streamed over Zoom from Booth Playhouse. Brian Cromwell was also named Blumenthal’s new Board Chair.
