On 5 July, the National Arts Festival's Arena Programme will host the world premiere of AS EVER, BESSIE - a poignant story that has been left untold, until now. Written and directed by Bobbie Fitchen, the play will have two special preview performances at the Galloway Theatre prior to its bow at the festival.

This new opera is provocative in its themes, exciting in its bravura style and thrilling with its sheer contemporary nerve,' it added in language normally reserved for reality TV. Erv Raible, Executive Director/Artistic Director, takes great pride in announcing the Eighth Annual International Cabaret Conference at Yale University. The International Cabaret Conference at Yale University is being developed in conjunction with the Yale School of Drama/Yale Repertory Theater. Several conference sessions will be held in the facilities of the Yale School of Drama/Yale Repertory Theater, including the recently opened New Theater.
Dell'Arte Opera Ensemble presents one of Mozart's last works. This stirring work - originally set in Imperial Rome after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius - now takes place in the guarded corners of an unnamed military dictatorship, but the concept of the dark dealings of political leaders altering the world stage is all too timely in any location.
