This year Walnut Street Theater celebrates its 200th birthday, and on February 3rd they will hold a big birthday bash. TVGuide.com is reporting that actor Nathan Lane will be appearing on FOX's sitcom 'Til Death' on November 19th, 2008. Lane will be 'playing the gay brother of Brad Garrett's Eddie. Recently split from his longtime companion, Lane's character ultimately commiserates with his kin over how they each have come to rely on their better halves.'

The dark comedy, written by Ronan Noone, directed by Justin Waldman and starring Campbell Scott as 'Augustine Early,' began performances at Culture Project's temporary new home, Barrow Street Theatre, on Tuesday, October 7th and has an official opening night Sunday, October 12.

August: Osage County, which recently celebrated it's 300th performance on August 14, 2008 is adding a new star to the mix for 5 days only. The New York Times reports that 2 time Tony-winner (Shenandoah and On the Twentieth Century), John Cullum will step in to play the role of Beverly Weston from September 16 to September 21 while Michael McGwire is on vacation.

Goodspeed Musicals, the only two time Tony Award winning theatre in the country, presents Happy Days: A New Musical. This tuneful musical comedy comes to the Goodspeed after a sold out run last summer at the Goodspeed's smaller musical performance space. The full scale musical celebration of 50's nostalgia begins April 11th and runs through June 29, 2008
