Scholar, professor and public intellectual Amitai Etzioni curates and moderates a series of discussions focusing on topics and questions in today's headlines. The next Arena Civil Dialogue will discuss what makes a great America and will be held in the Molly Smith Study at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater from 5:30-7 p.m. on November 11, 2018. Philadelphia Theatre Company will host several special post-play discussions in connection with its staging of the Theatre Exile production of Rizzo by Bruce Graham, currently running through October 23 at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre (Broad and Lombard Streets) - an American Playwrights in Context (APIC) discussion on September 30; a panel of political experts on October 4, a pro-football night on October 6 and a panel on Frank Rizzo's legacy on October 14. Salem Theatre Company brings to the stage the latest version of the Euripides classic, MEDEA. Performances begin today, March 10 and run through March 26 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 3pm. Saturday, March 26 will offer two performances at 2pm and 7:30pm. All shows take place at the theatre's new space at Shetland Park at 35 Congress Street on the 3rd floor with readily available parking in the lot. (more...)
