Gingold Theatrical Group's PROJECT SHAW presented two short comedies by George Bernard Shaw - PASSION POISON AND PETRIFACTION and PRESS CUTTINGS, last week, November 21 at The Players Club in Manhattan. David Staller produced and directed the evening and BroadwayWorld was on hand, as usual, for the photo call!

Stars of ELF, which opened on Broadway in November 2010 and concluded its limited run in January 2011, are set to perform numbers from the show at the Upper East Side Barnes & Noble on December 5 to celebrate the release ofthe cast album. Participants will include: Sebastian Arcelus, Beth Leavel, Matthew Gumley, Matthew Schechter, and Amy Spanger.
WICKED Comes To The Aronoff Center 11/2-26

After breaking box office records during its last visit to the Aronoff Center, WICKED, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, will return to Cincinnati, November 2-26 as part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Cincinnati 11/12 Season.
Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Averages 12.4 Rating

From 9 a.m.-noon, the 85th annual 'Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade' averaged a 12.4 rating, 26 share in households in the 56 local markets metered by Nielsen Media Research, finishing within 3% of last year's 12.8/27. 'Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade' topped the metered-market household rating of every primetime entertainment telecast on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox or CW over the past week except the Monday and Tuesday editions of ABC's 'Dancing With the Stars' (13.4 Monday from 8-9 p.m. ET, 13.2 Tuesday from 9-11).

New Jersey's Paper Mill Playhouse is currently presenting Irving Berlin's White Christmas, directed by Marc Bruni, with choreography by Randy Skinner and musical direction by Steven Freeman. The cast features: James Clow (Bob Wallace), Tony Yazbeck (Phil Davis), Jill Paice (Betty Haynes), Meredith Patterson (Judy Haynes), Edward James Hyland (General Waverly) and Lorna Luft (Martha Watson). The show opened last night, November 20, and runs through Saturday, December 24.

Nancy Rhodes, Artistic Director of Encompass New Opera Theatre announced today that Grammy Award winner Melissa Manchester will join Lucie Arnaz, Klea Blackhurst, Craig Carnelia, Brian d'Arcy James, Kevin Earley, Lesley Gore, Emma Hunton, Capathia Jenkins, and Karen Ziemba to perform at A Musical Salute gala, honoring the legendary Broadway, television and film composer Marvin Hamlisch on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 6:00pm at the National Arts Club, 15 Gramercy Park South, in New York City. Craig Carnelia, Sheldon Harnick, Baayork Lee and Donald Pippin will provide recollections of Marvin's work.

On November 17, Macy's Herald Square kicked-off the season with a heavenly evening of holiday magic at the annual Christmas window unveiling on Broadway Boulevard. The event featured an appearance by special guest, Whoopi Goldberg, along with the divine cast members of the hit Broadway musical, Sister Act, including Tony Award nominee, Patina Miller. Santa Claus also made an appearance and led the countdown to flip the switch and unveil the 2011 Christmas Windows, this year titled 'Make-A-Wish.'

Celtic Thunder has been one of the great musical phenomena of the past decade. Since their debut in 2007, the Irish vocalist supergroup has conquered the world, becoming PBS favorites and topping the world music charts in the U.S. and top concert attractions everywhere. Original Celtic Thunder vocalist Paul Byrom decided in Fall of 2010 to leave the group, in order to re-locate to the States and launch his worldwide solo career with a new solo recording.
