Sailor hijinks, the danger of war, and the passion of young love are all joined together by Rogers & Hammerstein's sensational score in one of the most powerful musicals of all time. Previews begin on Thursday, May 23 at 8:00 p.m.; with the official opening on Saturday, May 25 at 8:00 p.m. and running through July 14, 2013.

The Majestic Theatre held a special place for Mr. Gray, having starred there in The Phantom of the Opera, first as Raoul and later as The Phantom. Paper Mill Playhouse hosted its largest fundraising event of the year, The 75th Anniversary Gala, on May 10th, 2013. The 75th Anniversary Gala celebrated Paper Mill's legacy as a world-class producer of theater and its role as a pioneer in arts education for three-quarters of a century. The evening offered dinner, dancing, live and silent auctions and entertainment by students from Paper Mill Playhouse's arts education programs, The Eddie Bruce Band, and headliner Jeremy Jordan, star of Broadway's Newsies and NBC's Smash. Denver Center Attraction Announces Nominees for The Bobby G Awards

Denver Center Attractions announces the 2013 nominees for The Bobby G Awards - the Colorado regional awards program for The National High School Musical Theater Awards. Fifteen public and private high schools in the seven Denver metro counties participated in the inaugural season. The awards ceremony, on May 30 at 7pm in The Seawell Grand Ballroom, includes performances from the shows nominated for outstanding overall production and honors outstanding achievements by students and educators made in the areas of performance, design, direction, choreography, technical production and overall production excellence.

Pivot Arts Launches PIVOT MULTI-ARTS FESTIVAL, 6/6-22

Pivot Arts launches a new celebration of innovative theater, music and dance in unique and often historic spaces from June 6 - 22, 2013 throughout Chicago's Uptown and Edgewater neighborhoods. The inaugural PIVOT MULTI-ARTS FESTIVAL answers the City's call for a reinvigorated Uptown Entertainment District by uniting artists, businesses and local organizations around multidisciplinary "pop-up" performances occurring in a former Vaudeville Theater, an at-one-time Charlie Chaplin film studio and other historic spaces throughout these communities. Nick Rigg & Leftfield Entertainment Partner to Launch LOUD TV

Unscripted television producer and executive Nick Rigg, and Leftfield Entertainment, the production group behind History's Pawn Stars franchise and Bravo's The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and headed by CEO/producer Brent Montgomery, have formed a new joint venture: Loud TV. The full-service entertainment and production company will create a broad range of unscripted television and digital content, including branded entertainment. The announcement was made today by Rigg and Montgomery.
