The Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center presents Stephen Sondheim's Tony Award Winning musical ASSASSINS from September 10 through October 16, 2016

It's a big week ahead for composer/lyricist Shaina Taub, whose score for the Public Theater's Public Works production of a new musical adaptation of Shakespeare's TWELFTH NIGHT premieres this weekend.

The documentary 'The Legendary Angela Lansbury' will air tonight August 30th from 10.00pm-11.00pm on BBC RADIO 2.

As reported in an interview AFP, Alan Menken is heading into this TV awards season with the possibility of joining the elite EGOT club-a feat realized by just 12 people in history. Alongside pianist Matthew Martin Ward (Eric Sedgwick for the September show) and special guest David Vernon, she will sing and play a set aimed to explain 'the things that go through your head at 4:00 AM,' covering classical, Celtic, television and movie themes, and musical theatre.
