Cal State Fullerton's production of John Patrick Shanley's Italian American Reconciliation is directed by Professor Maria Cominis and runs October 7-30, 2016 in the Hallberg Theatre on campus.

Alan Cumming will star and executive produce a new CBS crime drama series DR. DEATH. Based on the upcoming book of the same name by James Patterson, the series will be scripted by Michael Rauch, who will also serve as showrunner.

New Hampshire Theatre Project (NHTP) is launching its 28th season at the West End Studio Theatre (WEST) on 959 Islington Street-its "new" home. While NHTP has been a resident company at WEST since 1984, only as of this July 1 has it become the sole tenant of the space.

Last night, September 19, 2016, The New York Pops returned to Feinstein's/54 Below for a cabaret performance starring Tony nominees Montego Glover and Tony Yazbeck. The night was an intimate evening of dining and entertainment led by Music Director Steven Reineke as two of Broadway's most talented stars performed some of their favorite tunes. The National Tour of FUN HOME, the groundbreaking and Tony Award-winning Best Musical, will officially launch this fall at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, running October 2-22, 2016.

The beloved Hans Christian Anderson tale, The Princess and the Pea, comes to life on the South Orange Performing Arts Center stage on October 15 at 2 p.m. This fun, and funny, musical tells the story of a Princess who is introduced to the King and Queen's court just in time to vie for the Prince.  However, her arrival in a rainstorm leaves the Queen to doubt her worthiness as a match for her son.  This story of acceptance and love and, of course, a 'Pea' will prove that staying true to who you are is the key to true happiness.

 The Singapore Literature Festival Closing Night: OUTSIDE THE LINES features theatrical performances of works by Alfian Sa'at (Hotel), Ovidia Yu (The Woman in a Tree On the Hill), and Marcus Yi (After the Merlion Returned Home). The staged readings will be performed on September 30, 2016 at 7:00 pm at the National Opera Center at 330 7th Ave, New York, NY. Free and open to the public. Registration is required. Full casting is announced today for Broadway musical Side Show, which will receive its UK Premiere in a brand new production at Southwark Playhouse, opening on Wednesday 26 October with previews from Friday 21 October.

The 2nd-annual Voices for the Voiceless: Stars for Foster Kids concert was just held last night, September 12th at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. This special event, presented by Beachbody.com, Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley, brought together the brightest stars of stage and screen to raise awareness about the plight of kids in foster care, particularly those aged 13 to 21 whom many consider 'unadoptable' because of their age.

Atlantic Theater Company presents Kecia Lewis (Mother Courage, Once on This Island) and Rebecca Naomi Jones (American Idiot, Hedwig and the Angry Inch) in the world premiere production of George Brant's play with music, Marie and Rosetta, directed by Atlantic Artistic Director Neil Pepe. Marie and Rosetta will play a limited engagement through Sunday, October 2, 2016, Off Broadway at Atlantic Theater Company's Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20Street).
