Registration Open for 'The Actor's Tools' Classes at New Hampshire Theatre Project
Taught by artistic director Genevieve Aichele, this six-week session will focus on The Actor's Tools.
Classes will be held on Mondays, September 19 to October 24, with each session focused on a different acting technique. Students can attend one, several or all six workshops.
Fees range from $25-$40 per workshop, depending on the number of classes attended.
Each week, Ms. Aichele will focus on the following tools of the actor: Energy (September 19); Imagination (September 26); The Body (October 3); The Voice (October 10); Emotions (October 17); and Words & Silence (October 24).
Classes are geared for beginner to intermediate actors.
The Actor's Tools workshops will held at NHTP's home in the West End Studio Theatre, 959 Islington Street, Portsmouth, NH. Classes for participants ages 10-15 will be 5:00-6:00 pm, and for ages 17 to adult from 6:30-8:30 pm.
