Incognito, the American premiere of the new play written by Nick Payne (Constellations) and directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes (The Father, Doubt, Outside Mullingar), opened just last night, May 24 at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street). Incognito, the American premiere of the new play written by Nick Payne (Constellations) and directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes (The Father, Doubt, Outside Mullingar), is currently in previews and will open on Tuesday, May 24 at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street). The cast of the limited engagement features Tony Award nominee and Theatre World Award winner Geneva Carr (Hand To God), Charlie Cox (Netflix's 'Daredevil'), Heather Lind (AMC's 'Turn: Washington's Spies'), and Drama Desk Award nominee Morgan Spector (Ironbound). On Monday, May 23 the Theater People podcast welcomes Krysta Rodriguez, Andy Mientus, and Alex Boniello. The three sit down to discuss the Tony nominated Deaf West Theater production of SPRING AWAKENING in which they all starred. Topic discussed include how they each came to the production, the unique and exciting challenges of working in a Deaf West production, and how it feels for their show to have been nominated for a Tony Award.

In 2016-2017, CBS will expand its comedy lineup, increasing the number of comedies from four to eight, compared to last fall, and programming two two-hour blocks on Mondays and Thursdays. Check out trailers below!

Sloan Foundation, announces the upcoming Sloan Panel Discussion on INCOGNITO, which will be held following tonight's May 17 performance of the play at MTC at New York City Center-Stage I (131 West 55th Street), and is open to anyone attending the evening's performance.

On Monday, May 16 the Theater People podcast welcomes BRIGHT STAR's Tony nominated leading lady, Carmen Cusack.

Lesser America (The Bachelors, Carnival Kids, Trevor) will present HALF MOON BAY by Dan Moyer. It is directed by Jess Chayes (AD of Peter and The Starcatcher) starring Keilly McQuail (You Got Older, Her Requiem) and Gabriel King (These Seven Sicknesses). Previews begin May 12 at Cherry Lane Theatre, where Lesser America is the inaugural Company in Residence. Opening set for Thursday, May 19.

On Monday, April 18, the Theater People podcast welcomes Five-time Tony Award-nominee, Danny Burstein. Burstein, currently staring as Tevye in the Broadway revival of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, began his career on Broadway in the early 1990s working mostly as an ensemble member and understudy. After making the decision to turn down work that didn't challenge him artistically, Burstein would go on to become one of the most celebrated leading men of his generation, earning Tony nominations for his work in THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, SOUTH PACIFIC, FOLLIES, GOLDEN BOY, and CABARET.

THE FATHER, a new play by Moliere Award winner Florian Zeller, in a translation by two-time Tony Award winner Christopher Hampton (Sunset Boulevard, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, God of Carnage), opened just last night, April 14, 2016 on Broadway at Manhattan Theatre Club's Samuel J. On Monday, April 4, the Theater People podcast welcomes ON YOUR FEET star Andrea Burns. Burns made her professional New York debut in Jason Robert Brown's groundbreaking 1995 musical SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD. She then made her Broadway debut in 1996 as a replacement in the role of Belle in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and went on to co-star in the Broadway productions of THE FULL MONTY and THE RITZ.

Just last night, MCC Theater's Miscast gala, an annual highlight of the New York theater season, honored Oscar winning star of stage & screen and MCC alum Marisa Tomei. The gala featured show-stopping performances by Emmy Award nominee Tituss Burgess; Tony Award winners Lea Salonga and Linda Lavin; Tony Award nominee Keala Settle; and stage and screen stars Aaron Tveit, Beth Behrs, Cynthia Erivo, Ana Villafañe, and Shanice Williams. On Monday, April 4th, the Theater People podcast welcomes Emmy nominated choreographer Spencer Liff. As a performer, Liff made his Broadway debut at age 11 in the musical BIG. He went on to appear in THE WEDDING SINGER, CRY BABY, EQUUS, and  9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL, taking on more and more responsibility along the way. He was the Associate Choreographer and Dance Captain for CRY BABY, and was the Dance Captain on EQUUS.
