XANADU Skates Into The DuPont Theatre 5/4-5/9

The 1980's are back and the DuPont Theatre is, like totally stoked, to present the awesome musical adventure/love story XANADU in its only area appearance. The show runs Tuesday, May 4 through Sunday, May 9, 2010 for eight performances only.

Rick Faugno Returns to South Point with SONGS MY IDOLS SANG (AND DANCED!), 3/21

Broadway's triple threat Rick Faugno (pronounced Fawn-Yo) will reprise his critically-acclaimed one-man song and dance show, "Songs My Idols Sang (And Danced!)," due to popular demand on Sunday, March 21, at 3 p.m. in the 400-seat South Point Casino Showroom. He'll also be selling his new CD at the performance. One of the Strip's popular Broadway imports and the original Frankie Valli in "Jersey Boys" at the Palazzo, Faugno premiered his solo show last August at the South Point and to date has sold out three performances - all with standing ovations from his endearing audiences.

Houston Ballet will close its current production, American at Heart, featuring two ballets that are significant to the history American dance (George Balanchine's Apollo and Jerome Robbins's Fancy Free) and one work inspired by American popular culture and created specifically for an American company (Christopher Bruce's Hush, choreographed for Houston Ballet in 2006). The production will close March 21st.

The production of XANADU currently playing The Stage in Cleveland will end its run March 14th. Robert Ahrens, Dan Vickery, Mickey Liddell, Tara Smith/B. Swibel in association with Latitude Link produced the run of the Broadway musical, which began performances March 2nd.
