On January 22nd at 7pm, We Go High Singing Out for Reproductive Justice featuring some of Broadway's best and brightest voices takes place at The Triad Theatre on W. 72nd St in Manhattan.

A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS was first shown as an animated television special in 1965 and has been part of the holiday tradition ever since. This family-friendly holiday musical based on the beloved special follows Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the whole Peanuts gang as they grapple with the real meaning of Christmas.

On Monday, September 26, 2016, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 12 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2016 recipients at its annual awards ceremony, The IT Awards. Hosted by a crowd favorite, Jason Kravits and directed by award winning director and sound designer, DeLisa White the ceremony took place from 7pm to 10pm at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College.

When I think of NYMF, I typically think of quirky musicals that would otherwise slip through the cracks of mainstream theatre. HELD MOMENTARILY: A NEW MUSICAL, with book, music, and lyrics by Oliver Houser, fits perfectly into this box, and given its previous performance history at 2014's New York International Fringe Festival, that is no surprise.

HELD MOMENTARILY - the new musical featuring India Carney, the singer and actress who was a 2015  finalist on NBC-TV's "The Voice"- has announced a second extension for its engagement at The New York Musical Theatre Festival. Scheduled to run through Monday, July 27, 2015, the production has added an additional performance on Thursday, July 23 at 9:00 PM at PTC Performance Space (555 West 42nd Street in New York). HELD MOMENTARILY features book, music and lyrics by Oliver Houser, was developed by Hunter Bird and includes additional material by Hunter Bird and James Zebooker. Scheduled to run July 20 to July 27, 2015, the production has added an additional performance on Tuesday, July 21 at 1:00 PM at PTC Performance Space (555 West 42nd Street in New York).

A cast of six will lead a reading of the Broadway-bound WHAT WOMEN DO (and men too) written by playwright and Broadway performer William Youmans and directed by Don Stephenson. The new play is a battle-of-the-sexes farce set in New York City. The reading, which is being produced by The Resonance Ensemble, takes place tonight, July 7, 2015 at 7:00 p.m at the Manhattan Theatre Club Studios (311 W 43rd Street 8th Floor) and is open to the public.
