On Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 5pm to 9pm, The artists of Spring Street Studios invite the public to experience the world of dreams and visions at an open studio event called "A Midsummer Night's Dreambar". Why Dreambar? The first 150 visitors to this FREE event will receive a free orange-and-vanilla ice cream bar. It is a Throwback Thursday nod to the joy of frozen treats from the ice cream man on a hot, summer evening, but the REAL treat of the evening for visitors will be meeting a community of working visual and performing artists and purchasing incredible artworks directly from their creators.
From Tuesday 10 March, Gary Watson will be joining the cast of JERSEY BOYS at the Piccadilly Theatre, playing Nick Massi, as the smash hit musical celebrates its 7th London birthday on 18 March.

Stark Naked Theatre Company rings in the New Year with its 2nd annual New Year's Eve celebration hosted by Artistic Directors Philip Lehl and Kim Tobin. The festivities begin at 8 p.m. in STUDIO 101 at Spring Street Studios, and the $25 ticket price (available in advance online at www.starknakedtheatre.com or at the door on the night of the event) includes beer-furnished by Saint Arnold-and wine, delicious food prepared by Mockingbird Bistro and Torchy's Tacos, as well as an evening full of unforgettable entertainment! Guests will enjoy dancing to live music provided by Instrumental Surf Rock Band The Neptones, have their caricature drawn by cartoonist Tom Rye, and experience a midnight balloon drop and champagne toast with Artistic Directors Kim Tobin and Philip Lehl (who, in addition to mingling with all the guests, will announce the title of the Shakespeare play which Stark Naked Theatre will produce in the spring!) The Royal Shakespeare Company's world premiere production of Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical offers more tickets go on sale offering access to performances through until Sunday 17 February 2013.
The show transfered to London's West End and opened November 24 to tremendous critical acclaim. Today, Michael Riedel reports in the New York Post that the show is now aiming to open on Broadway in the Spring of 2013, produced by the RSC themselves and overseen by Andre Ptaszynski, who formerly ran Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Really Useful Group.
Following a sensational sell-out season at The Courtyard Theatre, the RSC's production of MATILDA THE MUSICAL transfered to London's West End and opened November 24 to tremendous critical acclaim, and according to Whatsonstage, plans will soon be made concerning bringing the new musical to Broadway. RSC artistic director Michael Boyd announced at a press conference last week that the Mailda team will travel to New York at the end of January to discuss future Broadway plans. Additionally the RSC will 'retain "absolute control" over the production.'
