Steppenwolf celebrates its 33rd season with GALA 2009: A Celebration of the Season of the Imagination on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. at Steppenwolf Theatre Company, 1650 N. Halsted St. in Chicago.
The GALA 2009 Co-Chairs are Nora Daley Conroy, Charles H. James III, Randall K. Rowe, Manuel 'Manny' Sanchez, Pat Pulido Sanchez and Anna D. Shapiro.

The Hayworth Theatre presents the West Coast Premiere of Michael Murphy's 2005 Obie-nominated 'Sin, A Cardinal Deposed,' a concert production based entirely on the actual transcripts of the 2002 prosecution of the Boston Arch Diocese in the wake of accusations regarding priest sexual impropriety. Directing is multi Academy Award-nominated Paul Mazursky. The production premiered Thursday, February 26, continuing Thursdays only at 8pm until April 2.

In Suffolk Superior Court, lawyer Orson Krieger treads a fine line between respect and contempt as he relentlessly pursues answers from the elusive Cardinal Bernard Law, the Archbishop of Boston, for his failure to protect the victims of sexual abuse at the hands of priests in his archdiocese. Every question, every answer, every word of this play was taken from two hearings and one trial. All the characters are real.

The Hayworth Theatre, in association with Roz Bernstein Productions, will present the world debut of 'Lovelace: A Rock Opera,' on October 18, 2008. The new show, recounting the life and times of legendary adult film superstar Linda Lovelace of 'Deep Throat' fame, is based on the Book, Music and Lyrics of Charlotte Caffey (founding member of 'The Go-Go's,) and Anna Waronker (singer/songwriter, founding member of 'That Dog.,') with the Original Concept and Lyrics from Jeffery Leonard Bowman.
