TV Writer Samuel Denoff Passes Away, Services Held at Eden Memorial Park

Legendary television writer/producer and composer Samuel Denoff died July 8, 2011 at his home in Brentwood, California. He was 83 and suffered from Alzheimers' Disease. Services will be held Monday July 11 at 11AM at the Groman mortuary at Eden Memorial Park in Mission Hills, California.

The Colony Theatre Company is excited to present the fifth and final production of its 36th season, the classy, sassy musical, THE ALL NIGHT STRUT!, conceived by Fran Charnas, directed & choreographed by Murphy Cross and Paul Kreppel (Jay Johnson: The Two and Only!) with musical direction by Dean Mora. THE ALL NIGHT STRUT! will close on Sunday, May 1 at The Colony Theatre, 555 North Third Street (at Cypress) adjacent to the Burbank Town Center.

Paley Television Festival (PaleyFest2011) from March 4 to 17, 2011 at the historic Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, California. Combined Artform has announced the world premiere of Blink & You Might Miss Me, written and performed by Larry Blum and directed by Stan Zimmerman, at the Asylum Lab in Hollywood. There will be two preview performances on January 6 and 7, with opening night set for Saturday, January 8 at 8:00. The limited engagement will run through February 6 only.

IFC Presents ACTION, BEN STILLER SHOW et al.

IFC announced today that the network will return The Larry Sanders Show, The Ben Stiller Show, Mr. Show with Bob and David? and Action to their loyal TV fans in the New Year. The comedy series will join previously acquired viewer favorites Monty Python's Flying Circus, Arrested Development, Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared. The new comedies will also complement IFC's January 2011 original series premieres: Onion News Network, the first television series from America's most trusted news organization, and Portlandia, a scripted comedy series from Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein.
